Microdrama Forum Terms & Conditions
Last updated: July 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to registration for and attendance at the Australian Microdrama Forum, held online on Sunday 30 August 2026, 10am–6pm AEST (“the Event”), hosted by Koala Reels (“we”, “us”, “our”) via koalareels.com (“the Website”). By registering for any session, you agree to these Terms.
1. Registration & Tickets
- Sessions may be purchased individually or as an All-Day Pass covering all 8 sessions as per the listed pricing.
- Session 8 (Opportunities in Verticals & the 48hr Challenge, 5pm) is free to attend but still requires registration.
- Tickets are issued per person and are non-transferable. Access links must not be shared, published, or resold.
- All prices are in AUD and inclusive of any applicable payment processing fees unless stated otherwise at checkout.
- It is your responsibility to provide a valid, current email address at registration, as all session access links and updates will be sent there.
2. Payment
- Payments are processed securely through our website’s payment gateway. We do not store your full payment card details.
- Registration is only confirmed once payment has been successfully processed.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
- Refunds are not available within 48 hours of the relevant session start time.
- If we cancel or are unable to run a session, you will be offered a full refund to the individual registration value of that session.
- No refunds are offered for non-attendance where the recording is made available to you as a registered attendee (see Section 5).
4. Access & Technical Requirements
- Sessions are delivered live via Zoom (an online meeting / webinar platform) accessible through a web browser. You will be responsible for ensuring you have a stable internet connection, and a compatible device, browser and speakers/headphones.
- We are not responsible for registrants’ inability to access or fully experience a session due to their own internet connection, device, or browser issues.
- In the event of a technical failure on our end that prevents a session from being delivered, we will reschedule the session or provide the recording once available, and/or offer a refund at our discretion.
- Session links are unique to each registrant and must not be shared. We reserve the right to revoke access without refund where a link has been shared or misused.
5. Recordings & Consent
- All sessions will be recorded.
- Pre-registered attendees: recordings of any session(s) you purchase will be made available to you for playback after the Event, for a limited period (as advised upon registration).
- Post-event access: recordings will also later be made available for individual purchase to those who did not pre-register / could not attend live. The all-day pass is not available for post-event purchase.
- By joining a session — including via camera, microphone, or the text chat/Q&A function — you consent to your image, voice, name, and/or questions being included in the recording, which may be edited, published, and offered for sale as described above.
- If you do not wish to appear on camera or have your name used, please keep your camera off and use a display name/handle when submitting questions. You may still participate via text Q&A.
- Recordings remain the property of Star Rae Productions and may not be downloaded, reproduced, or redistributed by attendees without written permission.
6. Program Changes
- Speakers, panel topics, and running times are correct at the time of publishing but may change due to circumstances outside our control. We will make reasonable efforts to notify registrants of any material changes.
- In the unlikely event the entire Event is postponed or cancelled, registrants will be offered a full refund or transfer to a rescheduled date.
7. Code of Conduct
- Attendees are expected to engage respectfully with speakers, moderators, and other attendees during live chat and Q&A.
- We reserve the right to remove any attendee from a session, without refund, for abusive, discriminatory, or disruptive behaviour.
8. Intellectual Property
- All content presented during the Event, including panel discussions, slides, and recordings, remains the intellectual property of the respective speakers and/or Star Rae Productions.
- Attendees may not record, screen-capture, republish, or commercially use any session content without prior written consent.
9. Privacy
- Personal information collected at registration (name, email, payment details) is used to manage your registration, provide access to sessions, and communicate updates about the Event.
- We do not sell your personal information to third parties. For full details, see our Privacy Policy
10. Limitation of Liability
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, Star Rae Productions excludes liability for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your registration or attendance at the Event, including loss caused by technical outages, internet disruptions, or third-party platform issues (e.g. our webinar or video hosting providers).
- Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Age Requirement
- Registrants must be 18 years or older, or have parental/guardian consent to register and attend.
